As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries, the demand for high-performance data centre infrastructure is accelerating across India. To support this transformation, Comfonomics has inaugurated its new Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) manufacturing facility at MIDC Badlapur, marking a significant milestone in the country's evolving AI and digital infrastructure landscape.
The launch event brought together the founders, Mr Achint Singh, Mr. Siril Thodeti and employees of Comfonomics to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in engineering innovation.
The new SFN factory strengthens India's capability to support next-generation AI data centres that require advanced liquid cooling infrastructure. As discussed in our earlier blog on SFN liquid cooling solutions, AI workloads generate significantly higher heat loads than conventional computing environments.

As AI workloads continue to become more compute-intensive, advanced cooling approaches such as Direct-to-Chip Cooling and Immersion Cooling are gaining traction across the industry. Direct-to-Chip Cooling delivers coolant directly to heat-generating components such as CPUs and GPUs, while Immersion Cooling involves submerging servers in a thermally conductive liquid to efficiently dissipate heat. These technologies help data centres manage higher rack densities while improving energy efficiency and thermal performance.
Secondary Fluid Networks play a critical role in enabling efficient coolant distribution across high-density computing environments, making them an essential component of modern data centre design.

The facility is equipped to support the fabrication and assembly of stainless steel coolant distribution systems that form the backbone of liquid cooling networks. Advanced manufacturing practices, testing protocols and quality assurance processes have been integrated into operations to ensure reliability and long-term performance in mission-critical environments.
By localizing manufacturing capabilities, Comfonomics aims to reduce deployment timelines while strengthening supply chain resilience for data centre developers and operators across India.
Supporting India's AI and Digital Economy
India is witnessing unprecedented growth in AI adoption, cloud infrastructure and digital services. As organisations invest in high-density computing environments, demand for scalable and energy-efficient cooling infrastructure continues to rise.
The launch of the SFN facility contributes directly to this ecosystem by creating domestic manufacturing capacity for a critical component of AI-ready data centres. It also supports the broader vision of building future-ready infrastructure that can accommodate the increasing power and cooling requirements of advanced computing applications.
Highlights from the Launch Event
The inauguration ceremony reflected both celebration and purpose. Key moments included the ceremonial lamp lighting, a plantation drive symbolizing sustainable growth and the official launch of the manufacturing operations. The event also provided an opportunity to share the company's vision for the future of liquid cooling infrastructure in India.
Looking Ahead
The new SFN factory represents more than a manufacturing expansion. It is a strategic investment in the future of AI infrastructure, advanced cooling technologies and India's growing digital economy.
As data centre requirements continue to evolve, Comfonomics remains focused on delivering engineering solutions that enable performance, reliability and long-term scalability.
